None of these 14 projects has its source material stated in a headline.counted once per project, from headline evidence only — see Methodology
24 records flagged as deal coverage could not be tied to Shudder, a named project, a role and a transaction from their headlines; they are not counted here and are listed with sources under Unresolved.
Listed only when a headline names Shudder, the project and Shudder’s role. People are those the same headlines name. Newest first.
Names as they appear in sourced items; no contact data by design.

One row per transaction; reports of the same transaction are merged under it. Dates are when ScreamWire first archived a report. Amounts appear only as the source phrased them.
ScreamWire’s classifier tagged these as deal coverage, but the headline does not establish Shudder, a named project, Shudder’s role and the transaction. They are excluded from every count on this page and kept, with their sources, for review.
Source. Assembled from ScreamWire's classified archive — 287 wire items (Feb 18 → Oct 15) matching Shudder, deduplicated by URL (39 cross-day re-sightings removed). Every entry links to the original reporting. Descriptive, never predictive.
Why no deal amounts. Only 1.8% of tracked deal items site-wide carry a reported figure — the trades rarely publish terms — so dollar amounts appear only as the source phrased them (e.g. “rich eight-figure deal”), never as comparable numbers. This is a deal-flow tracker, not a comps database.
What counts as a transaction. A row appears under Transactions, Slate or What they buy only when the publisher’s headline names Shudder, names the project, and states Shudder’s role in a transaction (bought, set up, developing, ordered, distributing, hired or cast for…). A company mentioned alongside a film is not enough, and neither is a classifier tag. Reports of the same transaction are merged; separate transactions on one project, such as a set-up and a later casting, stay separate. 24 deal-flagged records did not meet the test and are listed under Unresolved.
Source material and medium are recorded only when the headline states them; otherwise “not stated”. Dates are when ScreamWire first archived a report, so a resurfaced older story can carry a later date; reviewed exceptions are listed in the repository’s record-review file.
Grades are ScreamWire's editorial coverage grade — how strongly the wire covered the story — not a deal-quality score.
